La Graciosa
L’eau qui brille, le bruit des vagues qui viennent frapper les rochers de la plage, la chaleur du soleil qui caresse la peau et ce goût salé qui reste sur les lèvres. Oui, c’est bien au bord de l’eau que je vous emmène cette fois car l’océan est une grande partie de ma vie. Vous avez toujours rêvé de faire un shooting en couple et de recevoir des photos vintage ? Eh bien j’ai toujours rêvé d’immortaliser un shooting couple sur pellicule.
La photo argentique
La photographie argentique a ce petit quelque chose de magique, ce grain, ce “je ne sais quoi” qui rend chaque photo intemporelle si bien qu’il est impossible de dater une pellicule. La difficulté est de ne pas avoir accès au résultat directement. Et dans une société où tout est immédiat, où l’on est habitué à tout recevoir instantanément, la photo argentique amène une touche de fraicheur où la patience et l’excitation de voir le résultat demeurent plus longtemps.
Grâce au workshop des Wolves, j’ai pu, durant le mois de novembre 2022, explorer mon potentiel argentique. Voici en images, un extrait de cette aventure avec April & Carlos, à La Graciosa (Ile Canarie).
Graciosa Island
The ocean shining, the sound of the waves hitting the rocks on the beach, the warmth of the sun caressing your skin and that salty taste that remains on your lips. Yes, I am taking you to the water’s edge this time because I am in love with the ocean. Have you always dreamed of going on a romantic getaway and receiving vintage photos? Well, I’ve always dreamed of immortalizing a couple’s shoot on film.
Film
Film photography has that magical touch, that grain, that “je ne sais quoi” that makes each photo timeless so that it is impossible to date a film. The difficulty is not having access to the result directly. And in a society where everything is immediate, where we are used to receiving everything instantly, film photography brings a touch of freshness where patience and the excitement of seeing the result remain for longer.
Thanks to the Wolves workshop, I was able to explore my film potential during the month of November 2022. Here are some pictures of this adventure with April & Carlos, in La Graciosa (Canary Island).
